On Thursday, September 7, Arclinea Boston celebrated “Soul Transcendence,” an 'Art in the Kitchens' exhibit featuring the work of internationally acclaimed artist Diego Jacobson. "Soul Transcendence" will be featured at the Arclinea showroom, 10 St. James Avenue in Boston, from September 7 – October 3. Arclinea Boston is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays. Jacobson has enjoyed a meteoric rise on the international art scene. He first began painting in 2002 after obtaining a Masters Degree in Practical Spirituality from the Peace Theological Seminary in California. His bold, intuitive paintings build on the techniques and creative language of artists like Hans Hoffman, Willem de Kooning, and Jackson Pollock. Art critic Nadia Chaviano Rodriguez says, “All of Jacobson’s work is a metaphor of freedom, freedom that pushes the viewer to constantly inquire on each canvas.” Jacobson’s work has been exhibited at museums and art galleries in Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Italy, Peru, and Spain, and recognized by publications including Art News Magazine, Arte al Dia International Magazine, and Art Nexus.
